6 Ways to Make Your Business

1. Make Contact Information Obvious

Don’t make customers hunt for a phone number, address, hours, or contact button. Put the important information where people naturally look for it—especially on the mobile version of your website.

2. Simplify the Choices

Choice can help customers feel in control. Too many similar choices create doubt. Group your products or services into a few understandable options and explain who each one is best for.

3. Explain What Happens Next

Tell customers what to expect after they call, click, schedule, or request information. Uncertainty creates hesitation. A simple explanation of the next two or three steps builds confidence.

4. Answer Questions Without Attitude

What seems obvious to your team may be completely unfamiliar to the customer. Never make someone feel foolish for asking a basic question. Patience is part of customer service – and part of selling.

5. Follow Up Without Chasing Them Down the Road

A helpful follow-up is good. Five texts, three emails, and a phone call before supper is not. Give customers room to make a decision without making them regret contacting you.
